Merrimack Valley Legal
Services (MVLS) is seeking a full-time temporary project director for its
Cambodian Outreach Project (COP). We
expect this position to be for at least one year from date of hire. COP
delivers civil legal services to The successful
candidate will provide direct services, including community legal
education, outreach, and project development within and for the Cambodian
community in Salary and generous
benefits package commensurate with those MVLS provides to its staff, as
outlined in its collective bargaining agreement. |

Details |
The New Entry
Sustainable Farming Project (New Entry) assists immigrants, refugees and
other disadvantaged farmers to develop viable farming operations in ·
Assist growers in
implementing their field and greenhouse schedules. ·
Help farmers meet specific
market commitments through weekly field visits; ensure greenhouse and
field schedule implementation. ·
Provide one-to-one TA to farmers on a variety of farming topics. ·
Organize / coordinate on site farmer meetings. ·
Assist farmers with recordkeeping activities – production, watering,
planting, marketing, etc. ·
Implement New Entry’s case management approach to coordinating
TA/marketing for each farmer. ·
Comply with data collection and tracking systems to monitor TA provided
to all farmers. ·
As appropriate, participate in preparation and delivery of New Entry
education and training workshops for new and continuing farmers on
multiple aspects of farm enterprise development ·
Assist farmsite manager with
farmsite maintenance activites as requested |

Effective in communications with diverse constituencies, most with

Available to work a flexible
schedule including some evenings and weekends.

Highly organized; ability to

Candidate must have good customer service skills for working with park staff and the public. Works under guidance of the park’s Museum Specialist (Collections). |

goals. Helps escort media and
visiting dignitaries around the park.
Advises on photographs and other materials from the park's
collection for media and publication uses.
Works under guidance of the park’s Public Information Officer. |
